CHOIR

We are a non auditioned choir and encourage adults of all sexual orientations, genders, and singing abilities to come out and sing with us. Share the joy of singing and become a part of a community.

REHEARSALS

Rehearsals are held in person from 10:00 to 12:00 PM on Saturdays at the Pacific Gardens Co-Housing Community at 347 Seventh Street in Nanaimo. Masks are optional but we encourage anyone who is ill to stay home and watch the livestream of rehearsals. Rehearsals resume September 13 2025. New singers can join up until October 31st and can attend 2 free sessions before deciding to register. 

CONCERTS

AVIVA major concerts are held two times a year: in December and May-June. We also perform in the community, for example Nanaimo Pride Flag Raising. Visit our Events page for more information.

FEES

The costs to participate are per singing term. 2025-26 Costs  are $20 Annual Membership Dues, plus $100 Fall Term Singing Fee and $120 Spring Term Singing Fee. We provide installment payments or subsidies for those who don't have the financial means to pay the full fee. Contact [email protected] for further information on the subsidies
